The IDT RHLS-2 Long-Stick Animal EID Reader represents the next level in RFID electronic ear tag readers. Designed with extended reach and ergonomic handling, it allows operators to scan animals from a safe distance, minimizing stress and contact. Operating at 134.2 kHz, this RFID Animal Ear Tag Reader for Cattle, Sheep & Livestock captures and transfers animal IDs seamlessly via Bluetooth or USB to farm management systems. Its high-resolution LCD display ensures clear visibility even under strong sunlight, while its rugged, waterproof design guarantees performance in harsh farm environments. Supporting both FDX-A and FDX-B protocols, it enables accurate and compliant livestock identification aligned with global standards.
The current time appears at the top center, and the battery level is displayed in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Once a tag is detected, a beep confirms the read, and the tag information appears on the display.
If no tag is read within 15 seconds, the buzzer beeps once and “No Tag” appears on the screen.
