Unmanned Weighbridge System

ID Tech offers an Unmanned Weighbridge Solution designed to integrate seamlessly with both new and existing weighbridges, enabling uni-directional or bi-directional operation. Our RFID Unmanned Weighbridge System is a standalone automation solution that eliminates the necessity for a full-time operator to oversee truck weighing processes.

At the core of our system are advanced components, including the RFID Reader, an integral part of our system, is designed and manufactured with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration. Our RFID Tags & Readers, essential for accurate identification and tracking, undergo a thorough manufacturing process in India, meeting international quality standards. The Boom Barriers, a critical element for controlled access, are also proudly manufactured locally. Comprising additional elements such as the Hooter, Traffic Lights, LED Display, IOT Controller, and Vehicle Positioning Sensor, this comprehensive suite is tailored to ensure a weighing process that is not only seamless but also automated and secure. The integration of RFID technology further elevates identification accuracy, streamlining overall operations and enhancing the efficiency of the entire system. Add-ons such as camera plate recognition, surveillance cameras, traffic barriers, and traffic lights can be seamlessly integrated, providing a versatile solution that adapts to the demands of your operation.

Our unmanned weighbridge system operates 24/7 without the need for a dedicated operator, featuring a user-friendly interface that empowers truck drivers to take control seamlessly. The Weighbridge Automation System Software by ID Tech serves as the intelligent backbone of this innovation, turning your weighbridge into a fully secure and operator-less hub. Experience efficient, automated weighbridge operations with our cutting-edge technology.

How it Works

1. Vehicle Identification

In our unmanned weighbridge system, the vehicle is automatically identified upon arrival through RF Identification, Number plate camera capture, or Driver Card Swipe. This removes the need for the driver to exit, as the TW slip is automatically processed through the digital linkage between the weighbridge system and the ERP Database using the Automation Software Application.

2. Vehicle Approach

As the vehicle approaches the weighbridge, it encounters the boom barrier. If the weighbridge is ready to process vehicles, the barrier opens automatically upon reading the RFID tag mounted on the windscreen of the vehicle.

3. Data Capture

The RFID readers capture the unique identification information stored on the tag, such as the vehicle's ID number or other relevant data. Additionally, security cameras continuously monitor vehicle movements, providing surveillance footage for security purposes.

4. Barrier Gates and Traffic Lights

Traffic lights, displaying red and green signals, manage vehicle traffic at the weighbridge during weighing operations. Green signals GO, while red signals instruct vehicles to STOP. Public address (PA) systems announce instructions for drivers as needed, ensuring a smooth process. Meanwhile, barrier gates allow authorized vehicles to pass through automatically.

5. Vehicle Positioning Sensors

Once the vehicle is correctly positioned on the weighbridge, vehicle positioning sensors confirm its alignment and presence. Load cells embedded in the platform measure its weight. Drivers verify live weight and their vehicle number on LED displays. After confirmation, the weight is accepted and saved.

6. Weighbridge Software

Weight readings, vehicle details, and surveillance footage are integrated into weighbridge software. Real-time weight measurement data is processed by the weighbridge software, and the results are displayed to the operator or driver and recorded for further analysis. This analysis can include identifying trends, monitoring compliance, and generating reports.

7. Integration with ERP & Centralized Database

All captured data including vehicle ID, gross weight, tare weight, net weight, timestamps, and transaction logs are automatically synced with the ERP or central database. This ensures seamless record management, audit readiness, and eliminates manual entry errors, improving transparency and operational control.

8. Automation and Invoicing

The system efficiently manages Gross Weight (GW) and Net Weight (NW) measurements, along with handling invoicing processes seamlessly. It automatically triggers notifications to relevant recipients based on the data collected. This ensures that stakeholders are promptly informed of any updates or changes.

9. Alerts and Notifications

The driver receives relevant documentation, including weight measurement details, for their records. Throughout the process, the system monitors for anomalies, such as overweight vehicles. If detected, alerts or notifications are triggered to prompt appropriate actions.
