Each laundry item is equipped with an RFID Tag containing unique identification information. The tags are either sewn into the fabric or securely attached to ensure they remain in place throughout the laundry cycles.
The RFID Desktop reader/writer links unique tag identifiers with detailed item information, like description and ownership, registered in a centralized database. This database is the core repository for managing each laundry item's lifecycle.
Upon arrival, items pass through an RFID tunnel, which is an enclosed system equipped with RFID readers or scanned using RFID handheld readers.
